1.0: Intentions of Implementation on Practical-Oriented UAS Model of Learning
- The School of Engineering, Energy and The Built Environment (SEEBE) has started internal attachment being implemented with collaboration with Delmonte Company https://www.delmonte.com/.
- Applied teaching:- Bachelor of Technology in Computer Electronic Systems students participated in diagnozing and repairing various computer systems damaged by power surge.
- Students on industrial attachment have been encouraged to identify industry related challenges/problems for purposes of developing their final year projects.
- MKU and Makerere University-Uganda has signed an MOU in March 2019 that focuses on:
- Cooperative student assessment
- Cooperative research activities among all faculties
- Staff and student exchange
MKU through SEEBE jointly with 21st Centuary Developers Company (USA based)http://www.21stcenturydevelopers.com intents to develop manufacturing plant for construction materials. This shall be built within the University compound.
