My motivation to join the workshop

As a dean I have encountered students who lack the required skills needed in industries after graduation. My main motivation for joining this workshop is to bring a positive change in the way the students in my School, SPAS at MKU are prepared to fit in the market by incorporating the insights gained at Germany UAS workshop. Also this  prepares me to be a better instructor and mentor.

Relevant insights gained during the first workshop

  1. Collaborating with industries
  2. Applied teaching and learning
  3. Students writing a bachelors thesis related to the industrial internship

Three interventions how you want to apply these insights at your home Universities or faculty

  • I start by briefing the university management on the insights gained at the worship
  • Prepare a PAP which will include visiting the company to discuss the issue of collaboration, the company visiting my faculty and sharing their ideas, problems with the student, students mentorship and more others
  • Effect the PAP
